From The Desk Of Our Chief Trainer

Dogs are amazing creatures! They offer love and loyalty. They make us smile with their silly antics. They give us comfort when we are in need and they are known far and wide as man’s best friend. Some dogs seem to come pre-programmed with perfect manners and a wide range of skills and behaviors. Some dogs seem to struggle to adapt to new environments. It takes time, patience, and skill to teach dogs how to be successful in our world. Dogs are not born understanding human language. Puppies don’t know that your words are meant to give them direction. Clear communication comes in many forms and it’s a two-way street. We all want our dogs to listen to us, but we must also listen to them. That partnership is the focus of my training.
